Peace of mind is an important factor
when choosing a boarding stable for your horse. Although each horse owner appreciates different things, most agree that
the safety, security, and health of their horses provide the comfort level sought in a boarding stable. Following is
a brief series of questions to help identify a boarding stable that is owner friendly. The point assignments can change
according to personal preferences. One may add other categories as the search becomes more refined.
Within the fenced perimeter, you will find one of the finest teaching and training facilities.
A large, fully fenced covered observation deck also is available. The Resort’s large
size arena is ideal for warm ups; there is a protected fence within the arena, which is ideal for training and exercising
horses when one cannot ride and for an injured horse that is laid off for a few weeks.
The Center offers a wide range of boarding tailored to client needs. State-of-the-art
viewing overlooks the arena, allowing visitors and students to watch lessons or simply relax and "talk horse."
The upper level viewing area also serves as a library, fully equipped with video facilities and instructional material; we
maintain a wide of dressage videos. Each year The Resort organizes a full week or weekend clinic with well-known national
and international instructors.

Lesions
If you love
horses, this is the place for you. We provide instruction in Flat, Equitation, Dressage, Jumping, and Cross-Country. Western
lessons also offered. Enjoy trail rides, the beauty, and quiet outdoors.
We set stall partitions on top
of the concrete. In the stalls, the concrete prevents “pawers” from digging holes in corners or by the door.
At doorways, it gives a smooth surface going in and out and makes sweeping easier.
For the aisle surface, we use resilient,
non-slip interlocking rubber pavers. For stall flooring, we use a 10- to 18-inch gravel base, topped by 6 inches of clay or
base rock. Over that, we put rubber pavers; they stay in place and drain well. Without pavers, flooring requires more maintenance:
Over time, holes develop as urine drains down and gets cleaned out. Filling in holes once a year keeps the surface reasonably
level.
